Girls in Engineering & Science Day Camp
Girls in Engineering & Science Day Camp is a three-day program designed for girls, entering 6th, 7th or 8th grades in the fall, to learn about engineering and science through hands-on experiments, demonstrations and conversations with College of Engineering & College of Science faculty and students. We seek to engage students' interest in engineering and science so that they may assume roles as the next generation of engineers. Sample projects and topics include hovercraft construction and race, robot designs and testing, energy & environmental science.
This camp fills up fast so early registration is highly recommended. Enrollment is limited to 40 participants. Scholarships may be available.
