Dr. Ian Suni is Director of the Materials Technology Center, Professor of the Mechanical Engineering and Energy Processes (MEEP) Department, and Professor of the Chemistry and Biochemistry Department at SIUC. Before coming to SIUC, Dr. Suni was Director of Materials Science and Engineering and Professor of the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department at Clarkson University. Dr. Suni has authored/coauthored more than 60 peer-reviewed journal articles, and been involved in research funding of more than $4.5 million. He is a member of the Materials Research Society, American Institute of Chemical Engineers, American Chemical Society, and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers
