Dr. Roohallah Khatami's research interests include power systems operation, electricity markets, interdependent critical infrastructure, maritime transportation sustainability, and optimization. He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Utah in 2019 and joined the Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering, Texas A&M University, as a postdoctoral research associate in the same year. In 2021, he joined the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, University of British Columbia, as a postdoctoral research fellow. He is the recipient of the best paper award from IEEE Power and Energy Society General Meeting (PESGM), in 2022, and the recipient of outstanding dissertation award from the College of Engineering, University of Utah, in 2020.
