Dr. Komaee's interests are in the areas of control theory and signal processing with emphasis on stochastic control, optimal control, estimation theory, and nonlinear filtering. In his current research, he applies these areas to problems in magnetic control of micro- and nano-scale systems. He is the recipient of the National Science Foundation CAREER Award.
