The Technology Department consists of four undergraduate degree programs and one masters degree program (Quality Engineering and Management).
Electrical engineering technology is an excellent major if you want to combine the analytical approach of engineering with practical skills using modern technology to solve real-world problems. By using an understanding of theory and mathematics, along with laboratory experimentation, you will be responsible for the design, implementation and application of electronic, computer and power systems.
This is a major for students who want careers in the electronics industry. Within our curriculum, you’ll be able to focus on technological areas such as biomedical equipment, automation and control, and telecommunications and networking.The Electronic Management specialization focuses on the Internet of Things, including smart objects, cyber security and network and system administration.
Industrial Management and Applied Engineering is an excellent major if you want to develop a combination of technical and managerial career skills. Our well-rounded program will prepare you for supervisory and technical management positions in manufacturing as well as in a wide variety of service businesses.
The Technical Resource Management program is designed to supplement your technical training and work experience by preparing you for upward mobility as a team leader, supervisor, or manager in your field of expertise. This degree-completion program is for those who’ve entered a technical career path for which a traditional bachelor’s degree may not be available. It is offered on campus and online.
