Program Objectives of the Department

  • Apply technical knowledge and skills to formulate solutions to real-world problems that are fundamental to civil engineering analysis and design.
  • Successfully pursue advanced degrees or professional development activities that support life-long learning.
  • Act in a professional, safe and ethical manner, and consider resource sustainability, public safety, health and welfare in their professional work.
  • Effectively contribute to multidisciplinary teams.
