ABOUT US

We are a service organization that develop future technical leaders that impact our community.

The SIU Leadership Development Program is designed to develop the next generation of technical leaders through leadership coaching, one-on-one and peer mentoring, and community service. You can start your path in the LDP as an SIU Sophomore or as a Transfer Student. Each starting point leads to the same destination, becoming a leader!

We are proud to be one of the few STEM colleges nationwide to offer a program that provides a direct bridge from classroom training to a successful career as a technical leader.

PROGRAM HISTORY

The Leadership Development Program was founded in 2006 by Dick and Brigitte Blaudow. Dick is an SIUC engineering alumnus and founder of Advanced Technology Services.

With a focus on the vision, mission and core values that help guide our tradition of excellence, we have continued to expand and improve the LDP program.
