Many students live in the Engineering Residential College their first two years – it’s an environment promoting success. More than 20 campus Registered Student Organizations, including our Leadership Development Program and Engineering Student Council, have an engineering focus giving you the chance to obtain practical experience, enhance employment prospects, get involved, help others, enhance leadership skills and have fun. You can also explore new locales and enhance your education through our Study Abroad program.

Our academic advisors will assist you in selecting the courses you need for your major and our career services coordinator can help you locate internships and cooperative education opportunities giving you real-world, hands-on field experience. Internships are a great way to learn while doing and you may even be eligible for academic credit. The co-ops allow you to "test-drive" your degree program while earning income to subsidize your education.
Our nationally recognized faculty are involved in innovative, creative research and as a student, you can be too. Exploration and problem solving are ongoing activities in our state-of-the-art facilities.
