Scholarship and Funding Opportunities

SIU Carbondale offers many types of financial assistance for graduate students in an effort to ensure that nothing gets in your way of accomplishing everything you want from a challenging and rewarding graduate-level experience.

Many types of financial assistance – assistantships, fellowships, scholarships, graduate assistant and teaching assistant positions – are available for those who qualify. Assistantships, fellowships and scholarships are awarded annually, and graduate assistant and teaching assistant positions are available throughout the year. Additional information is available with the Graduate School and the School of Mechanical, Aerospace, and Materials Engineering.
