Internships and Co-op
We believe that the classroom can offer only part of the education you receive while here. The full academic experience within the School of Mechanical, Aerospace, and Materials Engineering also includes professional work experience through the College of Engineering’s cooperative engineering and internship program.
In addition to enhancing your degree and financing your education, these paid and non-aid opportunities allow students the chance to learn about the industry and engineering from a variety of perspectives and also gain professional experience. Our graduates are in high demand these opportunities provide
Students in the cooperative education program may work for one or two semesters before returning to full-time study, and the year of professional engineering experience counts as course credit.
