Nina Hickland
Nina Hickland is the Global Head of Supply Operations in Google’s Cloud networking business. The Google networking supply chain and commercial operations team manages the procurement, distribution, and delivery of networking equipment to global business sites. It also oversees technological and capital investment in assets and services across the business.
Prior to joining Google, during her roughly 20 year career, Nina served in various leadership roles across the aerospace and defense industries. There she focused on leadership and program management in the electrical and systems engineering, engineering leadership, and operations fields. Nina joined Google from Northrop Grumman, a technology company focused on global security, where she served as Associate Director of Manufacturing Operations and an Engineering leader. There she managed a number of key portfolios in the defense industry including a portfolio focused on infrared countermeasure technology development and production. Prior to joining Northrop Grumman, she held various engineering and systems/program development roles including serving as Engineering Manager at Raytheon Technologies leading systems engineering development in the Missile Defense division as well as in various program management and systems engineering roles at Navistar and United Technologies Aerospace.
Nina is a graduate of Southern Illinois University Carbondale, where she received her B.S. in Electrical Engineering and dual M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering. She completed her Executive MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She is an avid STEM volunteer and frequently spends her time mentoring young men and women on pursuing careers in the technology field. She currently serves on the Board of Directors at Hope Street Charity, an organization that provides support for children and families during critical times of need.
